What an interesting and eclectic group of people. I almost want to say that this event was more "hip" than "nerdy". Almost. I suppose it could be in a classification of "hip nerdy", if I am allowed such a term. There was not too much actual "hacking" getting done; the main purpose of most was to socialize.<br /><br />Throughout the night, projects were being demoed outside on the patio, drinks were being served in the kitchen, and laughter was heard all-round. I didn't know anyone there, but I imagine that most of these people know each other through name or reputation. I have followed many of these projects and technologies very closely over the past year or so, but I have not contributed to them. I would definitely like to start doing so, while getting more involved in this community.
